Teacher: CTE - Automotive Maintenance
About The Position
This position is for a CTE (Career and Technical Education) Teacher specializing in Automotive Maintenance. Applicants are required to have at least 3 years of full-time work experience in the Automotive Maintenance field and must apply for a District Issued Teaching Certificate. While a college degree is not a requirement, ASE certification is either required or the ability to obtain it is necessary. All prospective employees must undergo a Level 2 background check, including fingerprinting and national criminal history checks, and be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Requirements
- At least 3 years full-time work experience in the Automotive Maintenance Field.
- Must be ASE Certified or able to become ASE certified.
- Must apply for a District Issued Teaching Certificate.
- Must submit to a Level 2 background check and be found eligible by the AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
