About The Position

This position is for a Teacher/Coach at Cypress Park High School for the 2026-2027 school year, specifically as the Head Golf Coach. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university.
• Eligible for a valid Texas teacher certificate appropriate for teaching assignment.
• General knowledge of coaching techniques and strategies.
• Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules and regulations.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain a current automated external defibrillator (AED) and CPR certificate.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of four (4) years of coaching experience in a formal educational setting.
• Experience as a coach in more than one sport.
• Demonstrates leadership in working with diverse students, staff, families, and communities.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules and regulations.

Benefits

• Probationary/Term Contract: 187 days
• Pay Grade T60 (Teacher Classification)
• Additional athletic stipend as approved.
