About The Position

Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs, while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal, state, and local regulations. This is an instructional position for 196 days per year and is full-time and benefit eligible. The grade level is Intermediate (4th-5th Grade).

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification OR Valid statement of eligibility
Reading endorsement is required.

Nice To Haves

Gifted endorsement is preferred.
Candidates with a Reading Endorsement or who are willing to sign an agreement to earn an endorsement may be prioritized for hiring.
