About The Position
Sylvan Learning Center of Diamond Bar is seeking a motivated, energetic, part-time Teacher Assistant/Aide to help teachers prepare for instruction and assist during instruction. The position also supervises students between instruction and involves clerical and administrative duties in a fast-paced, multitasking educational environment. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3–7; Friday, 3–6; and Saturday, 9:30–1:30.
Requirements
- At least a high school diploma with a good GPA.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
Responsibilities
- Help teachers prepare for instruction.
- Assist teachers during instruction.
- Supervise students between instruction.
- Perform clerical and administrative duties.
