About The Position
This position is for the 2026-2027 school year. It is a School Wide position within the Social/Emotional Teaching and Reinforcement - Intermediate (STAR-I) program. The role involves supporting specialized programs and requires the applicant/employee to upload all required documents as listed in the job description. If the applicant/employee currently holds a position that requires a certification listed in the job description, that document still needs to be uploaded to their application.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of experience as a Teacher Assistant or in a related field
- Completion of 60 college credit hours or passing the ParaPro Assessment
- Valid Nevada Teaching License with an endorsement in Special Education (if applicable)
- Ability to work with students with diverse needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
