About The Position
This position is for a Specialized Programs Teacher Assistant III (School-Wide) at TREEM ES, focusing on the Social/Emotional Teaching and Reinforcement-Intermediate (STAR-I) program for grades 3-5. The role is for the 9-month school year, with 7 hours per day, available for the 2026-2027 school year.
Requirements
- High school graduation or other equivalent (General Educational Development [GED], foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Minimum of 48 credits from an accredited college or university or a passing score on the Educational Testing Service (ETS) ParaPro assessment.
- Experience working with children.
- Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or a similar organization. Certification must be maintained for duration of assignment. Certification training must be in-person and include a hands-on component. Online courses will not be accepted.
