About The Position
A Child's Place is hiring a part-time Teacher Aide at either its Albany or Troy location. The position is onsite and requires arriving on time for the assigned shift. The Teacher Aide supports children's daily care and learning by following licensing guidelines and company standards, assisting children with buses and activities, and helping maintain an engaging, organized, inclusive classroom.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to arrive at work on time using reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Positive energy.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
- Coursework in early childhood education or child development.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and implementing company standards.
- Assist with getting children to and from buses and activities.
- Help maintain a fun and interactive classroom.
- Assist with classroom cleanup and organization.
- Help create an environment where children develop and learn to be successful in school.
- Promote an environment of inclusion and belonging.
