About The Position

Circle of Friends Child Development Center is seeking caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Teacher Aides. The Teacher Aide supports classroom teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. The role assists with daily classroom routines, supervises children, supports age-appropriate activities, and helps maintain a positive environment where every child can learn and grow. The center seeks team players who are passionate about working with children, eager to learn, and committed to quality early childhood education.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior early childhood education experience is required.
• Willingness to pursue Early Childhood Education coursework and professional development.
• Ability to assist with classroom activities, daily routines, supervision, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to meet California Community Care Licensing requirements, including background clearance and applicable health screenings.
• Ability to actively supervise children and perform the physical duties of the position.
