Requirements

  • Background or interest in any field of study related to sustainable transportation, including students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s (junior year or above), master’s programs, or recent graduates. This may include transportation, public policy, urban planning, marketing, communications, sustainability, public health, engineering, environmental studies, public relations, journalism, media, and social psychology.
  • Strong initiative, curiosity, and a can-do mindset
  • Ability to work in an environment of competing priorities and multiple simultaneous projects
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new technical skills and problem solve
  • General understanding of MS Excel, Word, Adobe, Creative Suite, G-Suite

Nice To Haves

  • General understanding of transportation planning, marketing, or community engagement

Responsibilities

  • Support sustainable transportation campaigns (promotion, fulfillment, communications, tracking, troubleshooting)
  • Assist with the development of new marketing assets: draft creative briefs, submit requests, coordinate with graphic design team, consolidate feedback, track schedules.
  • Create written content for a variety of communications platforms (blog, newsletter, web, socials, email) and coordinate with design team for graphic content needs
  • Maintain project and campaign performance tracking tools (editorial calendar, materials, metrics)
  • Support staffing in-person outreach events
