About The Position

The Tennessee Child Support Employment & Parenting Program (TCSEPP) Coordinator, based in OBION & WEAKLEY COUNTIES, TN, is responsible for building a strong evidence-informed and trauma-informed practice. This role assists, supports, and advocates for non-custodial parents involved with the child support system. The Coordinator helps non-custodial parents overcome barriers to employment to achieve stability, obtain employment, pay child support, become self-sufficient, and actively participate in their children's lives. The role also focuses on promoting trust and communication between non-custodial parents and the systems they interact with, as well as with children and custodial parents when appropriate. Additionally, the Coordinator establishes a supportive network of community-based resources and conducts outreach and education to non-custodial parents and the community. This is a grant-funded position contingent upon continued funding.

Requirements

  • Experience in social work or a related field.
  • Knowledge of evidence-informed and trauma-informed practices.
