About The Position

The Tennessee Child Support Employment & Parenting Program (TCSEPP) Coordinator, based in COFFEE, GRUNDY, and WARREN COUNTIES, TN, is responsible for building a strong evidence-informed and trauma-informed practice to assist, support, and advocate for non-custodial parents involved with the child support system. The Coordinator helps non-custodial parents overcome employment barriers to achieve stability, gain employment, pay child support, become self-sufficient, and actively participate in their children's lives. This role involves fostering trust and communication between non-custodial parents and the systems they interact with, as well as with children and custodial parents when appropriate. Additionally, the Coordinator will establish a supportive network of community-based resources and conduct outreach and education for non-custodial parents and the wider community. This is a grant-funded position, contingent upon continued grant funding.

Requirements

  • Experience in social work or a related field.
  • Knowledge of evidence-informed and trauma-informed practices.
  • Ability to assist individuals in overcoming employment barriers.

  • Proficiency in outreach and education.
