About The Position

The Tennessee Child Support Employment & Parenting Program (TCSEPP) Coordinator, based in RHEA, BLEDSOE, and SEQUATCHIE COUNTIES, TN, is responsible for building a strong evidence-informed and trauma-informed practice. This role assists, supports, and advocates for non-custodial parents involved with the child support system. The Coordinator helps non-custodial parents overcome employment barriers to achieve stability, obtain employment, pay child support, become self-sufficient, and actively participate in their children's lives. The role also focuses on promoting trust and communication between non-custodial parents and the systems they interact with, as well as with children and custodial parents when appropriate. Additionally, the Coordinator connects non-custodial parents with formal and informal community-based resources and provides outreach and education to them and the wider community. This is a grant-funded position contingent upon continued grant funding.

Requirements

Experience in social work or a related field.
Knowledge of evidence-informed and trauma-informed practices.
Ability to assist, support, and advocate for clients.
Skills in helping individuals overcome employment barriers.
Ability to foster trust and communication.
Experience in connecting individuals with community resources.
Proficiency in outreach and education.

Responsibilities

Promote active parental involvement in children's lives.

Weave together a supportive network of formal and informal community-based resources for non-custodial parents.
Provide outreach and education to non-custodial parents and the community-at-large.
