About The Position

The Tennessee Child Support Employment & Parenting Program (TCSEPP) Coordinator, based in RHEA, BLEDSOE, and SEQUATCHIE COUNTIES, TN, is responsible for building a strong evidence-informed and trauma-informed practice. This role assists, supports, and advocates for non-custodial parents involved with the child support system. The Coordinator helps non-custodial parents overcome employment barriers to achieve stability, obtain employment, pay child support, become self-sufficient, and actively participate in their children's lives. The role also focuses on promoting trust and communication between non-custodial parents and the systems they interact with, as well as with children and custodial parents when appropriate. Additionally, the Coordinator connects non-custodial parents with formal and informal community-based resources and provides outreach and education to them and the wider community. This is a grant-funded position contingent upon continued grant funding.

Requirements

  • Experience in social work or a related field.
  • Knowledge of evidence-informed and trauma-informed practices.
  • Ability to assist, support, and advocate for clients.
  • Skills in helping individuals overcome employment barriers.
  • Ability to foster trust and communication.
  • Experience in connecting individuals with community resources.
  • Proficiency in outreach and education.
