About The Position

Requirements

  • Completion of forms required by federal and state agencies and the School Board

  • Instructional applicants will be required to submit copies of Florida Educator’s Certificate or Statement of Eligibility (Letter from the Florida Department of Education) or Active/Valid Out-of-State Certification (if applicable) upon being offered a teaching position.
  • Must submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities from which a degree was earned.
  • Foreign education must be evaluated by an agency that is approved by the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE). A course by course evaluation is required for college-level education.
  • Educational credentials must be from institutions that are accredited by an accrediting agency that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Nice To Haves

  • Applicants for some clerical positions will be required to take a Keyboarding Test. The applicants for those positions will have to meet the Word per Minute (WPM) requirement for the given position.
  • To expedite the hiring process if you are offered a position, it is recommended that you prepare these requirements once you begin applying for teaching jobs.
