TBI Physician (MD/DO) – Part-Time Evaluations in Pittsburgh, PA
About The Position
The IMA Group is seeking a Physician (MD/DO) with expertise in Traumatic Brain Injury to perform evaluation-based exams for disability cases. This is a part-time role, requiring 2-3 days per month, with no treatment, prescribing, or ongoing patient care involved. The role is ideal for physicians looking to apply their clinical expertise in a low-stress, evaluation-only setting without the need for an ongoing caseload. The IMA Group's Government Services Division supports various agencies by providing objective medical examinations, while the Payer Services Division caters to the evaluation and screening needs of carriers and employers. The Clinical Research Division conducts Phase II-IV clinical trials.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted MD or DO license
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry, Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Demonstrated experience evaluating patients with TBI
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive TBI evaluations for individuals applying for disability benefits
- Review medical records and interpret diagnostic findings
- Complete detailed, objective reports using our proprietary reporting system
