About The Position

Join Aprio's Tax Operations team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio, LLP is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Tax Support Specialist to join our centralized Delivery Team. As a Tax Support Specialist on our Delivery Team, you will provide national support to the Tax Department firm wide, optimizing efficiency, client experience and quality control. You will interact with team members within your team as well as others outside of your team at all levels.

Requirements

  • Available to work overtime (evenings and weekends), as needed
  • Ability to manage and prioritize assigned work using exemplary time-management and task-prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Demonstrates ability to multi-task and turnaround assigned work accurately and in a timely manner
  • Excellent administrative and computer literacy skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SafeSend or other similar tax applications is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Electronically deliver tax returns via SafeSend Returns or secure email to clients
  • Create a high-quality client experience via professional, timely and respectful communication and troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in firm workflow software
  • Utilize firm workflow software to move tax jobs through firm processes
  • Perform quality control review for completeness and accuracy of your own work
  • Secure and protect Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with firm policy
  • Provide standby support to other centralized teams
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks and other unique duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the team and supported leaders
