About The Position

Uplinq is a rapidly growing, AI-driven firm that is experiencing significant expansion, doubling in size annually and processing over 1,000 returns. The company is looking for a personable and strategy-oriented CPA to fill a 100% advisory position. The preparation team will manage compliance tasks, and the company already has a full client pipeline. The advisor will conduct up to 12 client meetings weekly, focusing on advanced wealth, estate, and business succession strategies, utilizing advanced tools such as TaxPlanIQ and Maverick. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy CPA who enjoys deep client relationships and operates without sales pressure.

Requirements

Active CPA License.
Proven track record of actively designing and implementing complex tax and wealth plans for business owners.
Exceptional interpersonal skills: genuinely personable, deeply empathetic to the challenges of small business owners, and energized by heavy client-facing interaction.
Highly AI-friendly and eager to champion tech adoption to maximize efficiency.
Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment that is scaling rapidly.

Nice To Haves

Experience with TaxPlanIQ and Maverick.
Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and TaxGPT.
Experience working with high-net-worth clients.
Experience in business succession planning.

Responsibilities

Confidently lead up to 12 high-impact, strategic client meetings per week, acting as a true financial partner and advisor.
Build and present comprehensive strategies encompassing advanced tax minimization, estate planning, insurance alignment, and business succession planning.
Utilize the company's strategy stack, including TaxPlanIQ and Maverick, and actively integrate AI tools (like ChatGPT and TaxGPT) into daily research, communication, and strategy formulation.
Partner closely with the internal accounting team and the compliance team to ensure strategies are flawlessly executed.
