About The Position

Our client, a boutique tax firm serving clients from many professions and fields that focuses on complex tax issues, is seeking an Experienced Tax Senior / Preparer who is a resourceful and motivated CPA (or EA) to be the next successful member of their growing firm. Their focus is serving clients for all their tax needs in addition to being a trusted advisor.

Requirements

CPA and/or Enrolled Agent license (or in the process of obtaining)
3+ years of recent experience in tax and tax accounting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

Experience using QuickBooks and Lacerte Tax software.
Experience with Fiduciary Tax Returns
Experience with Individual International Taxes

Responsibilities

Prepare complex Tax Returns of varying complexities for businesses (Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065). individuals (Form 1040) and trusts (Form 1041).
Prepare tax projections/estimates as necessary.
Research tax questions as necessary
Interface with IRS and other tax agencies regarding client issues and audits.
Collaborate effectively and efficiently with all firm employees
Provide timely, high quality client service.
