They are looking for a Tax Senior Manager to join their dynamic team.
Requirements
- CPA, JD, or LLM required
- Bachelor's in Accounting required
- 7–10 years in public accounting with increasing complexity
- 2+ years representing clients before tax authorities
- 1+ year supervising tax staff
- Deep knowledge of current tax laws
- Experience with tax prep, research, and planning software
Nice To Haves
- Master’s in Taxation is preferred
- Willingness to work 55+ hours/week during tax season is preferred
- 40 hours of annual CPE required
Responsibilities
- Review and approve complex tax returns and government tax exams
- Act as subject matter expert in tax discipline or industry
- Manage tax return delegation and ensure accurate, timely delivery
- Oversee and represent clients in governmental tax audits
- Mentor and evaluate junior tax staff; lead development programs
- Monitor workflow and billing processes for accuracy and compliance
- Conduct tax software evaluations and suggest improvements
- Support firm growth through networking and industry involvement
