About The Position

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join its Private Client Services (PCS) team. The role supports family-owned and closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals with tax compliance, consulting, planning, and related services. The position involves coordinating and supervising multiple engagements, preparing tax returns, researching applicable tax laws, responding to tax notices, communicating with clients, and supporting the development of junior staff. The team emphasizes teamwork, creativity, proactive client service, and opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent field.
• At least 4 years of recent tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting, or a combination of public- and private-sector experience.
• Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts/estates, and/or entities.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Taxation or a relevant field.
• CPA certification, progress toward completing the CPA exams, or IRS Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience using ProSystems FX, CCH Engagement, XCM, or similar tax software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and supervise multiple consulting, compliance, and tax planning engagements.
• Prepare federal, state, multi-state, and international income tax returns.
• Conduct tax research and planning in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Respond appropriately to IRS and state tax notices.
• Communicate with clients as directed by the Manager.
• Work as part of an integrated team.
• Assist with training and mentoring Interns and Associates.
