Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or related field.
2+ years of public accounting experience.
Strong background in tax compliance across multiple entity types.
Experience in tax return preparation and review.
Digital fluency, including ability to learn and navigate CCH Axcess Tax.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify patterns and issues.
Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions.
Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20% annually).
Desire to work in a progressive, innovation-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

CPA eligibility/license preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other flow-through entities.
Lead and manage tax projects, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
Analyze client data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams, articulating complex tax concepts clearly and confidently.
Mentor and guide team members, fostering growth and technical development.
Stay informed on current tax issues and agricultural industry trends to provide proactive advice.
