About The Position
A CPA firm is seeking a Tax Senior Accountant to join its tax team. This fully remote position is open to candidates across the U.S. The role is suited to an experienced public accounting tax professional who can take ownership of work, build client relationships, and continue developing professionally. The position involves preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, responding to client questions, identifying tax-planning opportunities, researching tax issues, managing workload and projects throughout tax season, collaborating with the tax team, and assisting less-experienced staff when needed.
Requirements
- Several years of public accounting tax experience.
- Experience preparing individual and business tax returns.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients.
- Take ownership of work and enjoy solving problems.

- CPA license or progress toward obtaining one.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1065, and 1120S.
- Work with clients to answer tax questions and identify tax-planning opportunities.
- Research tax issues and help clients navigate complex situations.
- Manage personal workload and keep projects on track throughout tax season.
- Collaborate with other members of the tax team.
- Help less-experienced staff when needed.
