About The Position
This is an internship position for undergraduate or graduate students seeking experience in public accounting. The interns will participate in the Promoting Opportunities & Outstanding Leaders (POOL) program, gaining exposure to tax, audit, and consulting services. Tax season interns will work with tax teams and gain hands-on experience across various industries. The firm believes that broad exposure to its services and niches will better equip interns and future staff to serve clients effectively.
Requirements
- Expected or completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics from an accredited college/university
- Superior communication skills
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Ambitious with a desire to continually improve

Responsibilities
- Develop a broad understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts
- Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to senior associates and managers
- Review and evaluate internal control systems, policies, and procedures
- Examine and organize accounts and tax records
- Compute taxes owed according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations
- Assist in conducting tax research, studies, and special projects
