About The Position
Jackson Hewitt is seeking an experienced seasonal tax preparer to support clients during tax season. The role involves conducting personalized client interviews, preparing accurate federal and state tax returns with proprietary tax preparation software, identifying applicable deductions and credits, and providing excellent customer service while building lasting client relationships. Requirements
- At least one season of professional tax preparation experience.
- Familiarity with federal and state individual income tax returns, tax deductions, credits, and filing requirements.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and building strong client relationships.
- Ability to explain tax information clearly and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Comfort using computers, tax preparation software, and digital tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
