About The Position

Baker McKenzie seeks a current Tax 2027 LLM student in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, or Washington, DC, or a current JD Class of 2027 student in Los Angeles, Palo Alto, or San Francisco, for a part-time law clerk position in its Tax Planning and Transactions practice. The position is 15–20 hours per week for 9–12 months. Candidates must plan to sit for and become admitted to the applicable state Bar. Applicants should include a resume, JD transcripts, and a writing sample with their application.

Requirements

• Current Tax 2027 LLM student in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, or Washington, DC, or current JD Class of 2027 student in Los Angeles, Palo Alto, or San Francisco.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Exceptional speaking and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to function smoothly in a global-team environment with culturally diverse team members.
• Must be planning to sit for and become admitted to the applicable state Bar.
