Tax Planning Advisor (EA or CPA)

Capita Financial NetworkDraper, UT
Onsite

About The Position

Capita is a rapidly growing RIA firm focused on building long-lasting relationships with individuals, families, and business owners through comprehensive financial planning. We are expanding our in-house services to include tax strategies and preparation, and this new role will be foundational in building that offering. We are looking for an Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA who wants to do more than prepare tax returns; we want someone who wants to help build a modern, integrated tax practice alongside our financial advisors. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of tax services at Capita, working directly with clients, partnering with financial advisors on proactive tax planning, and having a meaningful voice in developing processes, workflows, and the client experience. As part of the Centralized Planning Team (CPT), there is potential to broaden impact over time, supporting broader financial planning initiatives beyond tax, making it ideal for those who enjoy continuous learning and expanding expertise. This role is for problem-solvers who enjoy improving work processes, taking ownership, and building something from the ground up.

  • Experience preparing and filing individual and business tax returns.
  • Experience using professional tax software such as Drake, UltraTax, or similar.
