Southwest Accounting Resources, Inc is recruiting Tax professionals at all levels (Staff up to Senior Manager) for immediate full-time opportunities with a growing CPA firm in Scottsbluff, NE. This role involves performing complex tax preparation, tax research, and tax planning, advising clients on tax-efficient strategies, directing/assisting in compliance aspects of US tax for various entity types, reviewing tax estimates and projections, and staying current on Taxation Codes and Regulations. The ideal candidate is an experienced Tax professional with public tax experience looking to transition into a stable, growing environment for continued skill development.
Requirements
- Experience in tax compliance, planning, and preparation
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Masters in Taxation (Masters in Accounting or MBA also considered)
Nice To Haves
- Big 4 or large national/regional tax experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform complex tax preparation, tax research, and tax planning
- Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies
- Direct/assist in compliance aspects of US tax for corporations, partnerships, LLCs, S-corps, and individuals
- Review tax estimates and projections
- Keep current on and possess sound knowledge of Taxation Codes and Regulations
