About The Position

BMF is seeking an outgoing, relationship-driven CPA to join their management team with potential for partner. This role will provide oversight and management of client engagements. The ideal candidate will possess a broad base of professional skills including effectively establishing workload priorities, organizing and planning individual jobs, supervising the work of others, working independently, and the ability to analyze complex matters. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated success consulting with clients on a broad range of tax matters and advice, experience identifying prospects, building and securing new client relationships, and cultivating a strong network of professional contacts and centers of influence.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm required.
CPA required for Manager level.
Strong team management skills - the ability to lead, motivate, and coach teams of people.
Demonstrated ability and presence as a role model for other staff and professionals, including as a result of professional and technical reputation.
Experience in one or more specialized areas/industries.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
Strong corporate tax and/or high net worth individual background and technical skills.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree preferred.
Established (or developing) industry-specific reputation and visibility, including a strong network of professional contacts and centers of influence.

Review returns for individual and corporate tax clients including federal, foreign and state and local
Manage federal and state tax audits
Research and consult on complex tax issues
