Our Core Tax Services team is seeking a Tax Manager to support our Fort Lauderdale / Coral Gables market. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, managing complex tax engagements, identifying planning opportunities, and developing high-performing tax professionals while delivering exceptional client service.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Active CPA license required.
4+ years of public accounting experience, including experience managing client engagements and leading teams.
Strong experience with C-Corporation taxation and corporate income tax compliance.
Experience reviewing and managing ASC 740 income tax provisions.
Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Strong project management, organizational, and client relationship management abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to delivering superior client service.
Candidates must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships, communications, deadlines, and engagement deliverables.
Manage clients’ tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, and identify tax planning opportunities that support their strategic goals.
Lead tax engagements from planning through delivery, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion.
Review complex C-Corporation income tax returns and oversee corporate tax compliance engagements.
Manage and review ASC 740 income tax provisions.
Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and ongoing professional development to Tax Associates, Seniors, and other team members.
Deliver regular performance feedback and help foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
Leverage your technical tax knowledge, project management skills, and business acumen to solve complex client challenges.
Collaborate with colleagues across service lines to provide integrated solutions and outstanding client service.
