Requirements

5+ years of public accounting experience
2+ years in a supervisory role within a public accounting firm
CPA required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Experience directly managing and interacting with clients through a variety of channels
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail
Advanced knowledge of applicable accounting software, QuickBooks, CCH Axcess & Engagement preferred
US work authorization required

Responsibilities

Review and approve complex tax returns; manage tax planning and consulting projects.
Serve as a client advisor, leading meetings, handling complex returns, and managing delegated client relationships.
Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff; oversee work assignments, training, and performance evaluations.
Manage tax examinations and represent clients before taxing authorities as needed.
Monitor tax developments, research technical issues, and provide guidance to staff and partners.
Support firm growth through practice development, billing, collections, and community involvement.
