Requirements
- 7+ years of public accounting or relevant tax experience
- CPA certification required
- Strong experience preparing and reviewing a variety of individual and business tax returns
- In-depth knowledge of partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates, and high-net-worth individual taxation
- Solid understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns, including individual, high-net-worth, C-Corporation, S-Corporation, partnership, trust, and estate returns
- Manage multiple tax engagements simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines and client expectations
- Provide comprehensive tax planning, research, and advisory services tailored to client needs
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop customized strategies for individual and business clients
- Ensure all tax returns are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable tax laws and regulations
- Assist clients with tax audits, notices, and inquiries from federal, state, and local tax authorities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted tax advisor
- Collaborate with accounting and advisory team members to deliver comprehensive solutions
- Stay current on changes to federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior and staff-level tax professionals
