About The Position
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for overseeing tax compliance, providing strategic tax planning, managing staff, and building strong client relationships.
Requirements
- CPA preferred
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Review federal and state tax returns
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies and tax implications
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with current tax regulations
- Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals
- Communicate with auditors and tax authorities as needed
- Host educational webinars and client presentations
- Attend industry conferences and networking events
- Assist with staff training and professional development
- Support additional tax and advisory projects as needed
