About The Position
Are you a tax professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and making an impact across a growing organization? We're seeking a Tax Manager to lead tax compliance, planning, and reporting efforts while partnering closely with Finance leadership to support strategic business growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of corporate and/or public tax experience
- Strong SALT and Sales & Use Tax expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and tax accounting principles
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance, filings, and reporting
- Lead Sales & Use Tax, SALT, property tax, payroll tax, and other business tax activities
- Prepare and review tax provisions, reconciliations, journal entries, and disclosures
- Partner with Finance and Accounting on tax planning strategies and risk mitigation
- Manage tax audits, regulatory inquiries, and external advisor relationships
- Monitor tax law changes and advise leadership on business impact
- Improve tax processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency
- Support organizational growth initiatives, acquisitions, and new market expansion
