Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
Minimum 5+ years of public accounting experience required, with at least 1 year reviewing tax returns
Strong working knowledge of UltraTax CS, QuickBooks (Online and Desktop), and the Microsoft Office suite
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines simultaneously
Must be able to travel based on client and business needs (approx. 5-10%, primarily within CT and RI)

Nice To Haves

CPA designation is preferred

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of clients across diverse industries, serving as their primary point of contact for tax planning, compliance, and strategic financial guidance
Review individual, fiduciary, partnership, and corporate tax returns prepared by staff, using UltraTax CS and the Thomson Reuters product suite
Lead proactive tax planning conversations with small business owners and individuals to support their long-term financial goals
Mentor and develop interns and staff accountants in partnership with firm leadership, including reviewing work, providing feedback, and supporting CPA exam progress
Partner with firm leadership on practice development, process improvement, and client growth initiatives
