About The Position

You will lead and manage multiple tax engagements for a variety of clients in an effort to deliver high quality tax services for our clients, while also helping to improve our process to maximize business productivity and growth. Develop, mentor, and manage staff and help them develop in a manner that enhances delivery of our tax services to clients. Actively share knowledge as part of our internal staff development programs. Identify opportunities to expand the scope of current engagements through identification of current client needs and target client requirements. Consult and develop a good working relationship with clients, make recommendations on business process improvement, and serve as business advisor to clients. Communicate directly with clients and partners to "get the task done". Develop firm-wide training for tax personnel, and manage, train and mentor staff on tax related issues and engagements. Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA required.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in public accounting.
  • Proven track record as a manager with supervisory experience at a public accounting firm.
  • Strong tax research and planning skills for corporations and high net-worth individuals.
  • Some experience with flow-through entities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CCH Axcess Tax and related products a plus.
