About The Position

The International Tax Manager will serve clients on a variety of international tax planning and compliance matters. This role involves working with staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of individual and business tax returns, coaching and mentoring staff members, gathering tax-related information from clients, analyzing tax situations for maximum benefit, networking to attract new clients, and billing clients for services provided.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
5+ years of tax experience.
2+ years of experience focused on international tax.
Familiarity with Form 5471 and Net Tested Income.
Extensive knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
Actively stay up-to-date on the ever-changing tax industry's regulations and policies.
Self-starter who enjoys working independently and in a team environment.
Able to focus on complex tasks and will quickly understand the firm’s comprehensive compliance processes.
Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Coach or mentor a staff member to assist with enhancing their skills and further developing their career.
Gather relevant tax-related information from the client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
Look at tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
Network, build relationships and attract new clients or business for the Firm.
Bill clients for the services and guidance provided.
