The firm emphasizes a culture that values diverse beliefs and perspectives. CLA is seeking to hire a Tax Manager/Director for its high-net-worth private client group in the Portland, OR office. This role involves collaborating with a dedicated team serving high-net-worth clients, consulting on income, gift, and estate tax planning, leading and reviewing tax engagements for complex individual, trust, gift, and pass-through entities, developing team members, fostering opportunities, and participating in industry events and trainings.
Requirements
- 6 years of relevant experience required.
- Bachelor's degree required
- CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in professional accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience with high net worth individuals, trusts, pass-through entities, and gift reporting preferred
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with robust team dedicated to serving high net worth clients
- Consult with clients on income, gift and estate tax planning.
- Lead, supervise, and review tax engagements typical for high-net-worth clients, including complex individual, trust, gift and pass-through entities.
- Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
- Foster and build opportunities for our clients, communities, and people.
- Participate in local industry-leading events and trainings.
