A Tax Manager works closely with firm leadership, plays a key role in business development and firm administration, and is responsible for training and mentoring less-experienced team members. The ideal candidate is a CPA with 5+ years of experience in corporate tax / ASC 740 at a public accounting firm.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA with 5 + years of experience in public accounting, industry experience, or a combination of both
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax / ASC 740
- Technical knowledge sufficient to sell and execute engagements in a variety of industries
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills
- Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
