About The Position

Cerity Partners is seeking talented, bright, and motivated individuals with the highest level of personal integrity to join our Cleveland tax team for a paid internship program from January 2027 to April 2027. This program offers 20-30 hours per week with a flexible schedule, a collaborative team atmosphere, and the autonomy to manage your projects. It's an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a professional environment within the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory. This role is ideal for someone seeking a part-time seasonal position.

Requirements

  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related business degree with a strong interest in tax
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Actively participating in campus organizations, preferably within a leadership role, and/or professional work experience

  • Tech savvy – Ability to quickly learn to navigate various software applications
  • Organized – Proficient at compiling data into a presentable orderly deliverable

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local individual and business income tax returns
  • Create workpapers that effectively tell the story of how projects were prepared
  • Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues
  • Other duties as assigned.
