About The Position

Cerity Partners is searching for talented, bright, and motivated individuals with the highest level of personal integrity to join our Cleveland tax team January 2027 – April 2027. We are seeking a team player with a positive attitude and the highest level of personal integrity to join our team. This is a paid internship program (20-30 hours per week) and a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a professional environment. This role offers a flexible schedule, collaborative team atmosphere, and autonomy to manage your projects. This role is also ideal for someone looking for a part-time seasonal position in the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.

Requirements

Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA
Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related business degree with a strong interest in tax
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Actively participating in campus organizations, preferably within a leadership role, and/or professional work experience
Identify with Cerity Partners mission and demonstrate our core values

Tech savvy – Ability to quickly learn to navigate various software applications
Organized – Proficient at compiling data into a presentable orderly deliverable

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local individual and business income tax returns
Create workpapers that effectively tell the story of how projects were prepared
Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues
Other duties as assigned.
