Winter 2027 Tax Intern
About The Position
Andrews Hooper Pavlik (AHP) is hiring a Winter 2027 Tax Intern to work in person at one of its Michigan office locations. The part-time internship runs from late January 2027 through April 15, 2027, for approximately 20 hours per week. The flexible schedule is designed to fit around classes, and weekend work is not required. The intern will join engagement teams and gain hands-on tax-season experience while working with experienced tax professionals. The role includes preparing individual and business tax returns with guidance, assisting with workpapers and supporting documentation, conducting tax research, learning tax software and firm processes, and collaborating on client engagements. The intern may also support additional projects during the busy season. AHP describes opportunities for training, networking, mentorship, exposure to varied industries, and potential future internship or full-time career opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual and business tax returns with guidance from experienced professionals.
- Assist with tax workpapers and supporting documentation.
- Conduct tax research and resolve basic tax questions.
