About The Position

Requirements
- Knowledge from Intermediate Accounting 1 coursework
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of tax principles and accounting practices
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns
- Shadow Tax professionals of all levels
- Conduct tax research to stay up to date on current tax laws and regulations
- Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
- Work collaboratively with other interns in a group project that will be presented at the end of the internship
- Participate in client meetings alongside YHB managers
- Calculate tax extension or estimate payments
- Gain foundational, practical knowledge related to the tax service industry
