We are looking for a highly motivated student to join our tax team as a seasonal tax intern from September-December 2026.

Requirements

  • Experience with building databases, data manipulation, and computer programming
  • Familiarity with data tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, or basic scripting
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • You have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • You have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • You are a team player, and have solid verbal and written communication skills
  • You have a collaborative mindset and positive attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with tax return preparation would be an asset
  • You have an interest in technology, automation, and process improvement within a tax environment would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Assists with Canadian tax filings such as corporate/excise tax returns
  • Assist with the preparation of responses to tax authority’s inquiries
  • Assist with pre-tax season preparation including financial information gathering and review, tax compliance list preparation, coordination with internal and external stakeholders etc.
  • Assist with post-tax season and/or ad hoc projects
  • Participate in technology‑improvement initiatives such as: Identifying manual processes suitable for automation, Developing tools for the collection of information that are necessary for tax analyses, Creating templates, dashboards, or macros to support tax operations, Supporting the enhancement of existing systems
