As an intern, you will work on meaningful projects, assist with client tax filings, and gain practical experience in various areas of taxation, including compliance, planning, and advisory. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Intern to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tax preparation, compliance, and planning. As a Tax Intern, you will work closely with our tax professionals to support various tax-related tasks and projects. The duration of this internship is from January to April.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Taxation.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations (coursework in taxation is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Proficiency in Adobe PDF
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Availability to work minimum 25 hours a week

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns (1040/1041) and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct research on tax regulations and assist in applying them to client situations.
  • Support the tax team in various projects and administrative tasks.
