This position involves managing outside providers for foreign corporate income tax returns and workpapers, and reviewing and analyzing international income tax provision components in accordance with ASC 740, including complex international tax regimes such as GILTI, Subpart F, and FDII. The role requires cooperation with the Accounting department for proper recording of tax-related journal entries and facilitating monthly book closures. Key responsibilities include overseeing global transfer pricing documentation and Country-by-Country (CbC) reporting, coordinating with external service providers to ensure compliance with OECD guidelines, local statutory requirements, and internal governance standards. The individual will prepare intercompany agreements and work with external auditors to ensure global transactions meet arm’s-length standards. Support for OECD Pillar Two (Global Minimum Tax) compliance, including data collection and quarterly/annual tax calculations, is also required, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors. The role assists in tax planning and analysis for M&A transactions, foreign corporate governance regulatory requirements, and filings. It also involves developing and maintaining tax policies, documentation, and controls to support SOX and internal governance, overseeing internal controls, and regularly assessing their appropriateness. Finally, the position assists the Head of Tax with the company’s tax audit defense strategy, managing examinations by the IRS, state taxing authorities, and foreign tax authorities across multiple jurisdictions.
