About The Position

The 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Candidates must be available to start on May 17 and participate through the duration of the program. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of a school/employment or any other visa, regardless of expiration date, now or in the future. Requirements

  • Must be a student currently enrolled in a business-related degree program with a graduation date no earlier than December 2026
  • Must be interested in a career in a business/finance/accounting-related field
  • Must have strong leadership, time management, and critical thinking skills
  • Must demonstrate an ability to take initiative and drive results
  • Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills and the capability to work as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Previous tax coursework is preferred
  • Experience in Excel is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist on day-to-day tasks as well as more specialized tax projects.
  • Federal and state tax compliance – income tax and sales/use tax
  • International tax compliance
  • Tax research
  • Tax controversy – IRS and state taxing authorities
  • Tax planning projects
  • Accounting for income taxes
