As a Tax Associate, within PNC’s Tax organization, you will be based in Cincinnati, OH. You will work together to create new solutions which will provide our clients with an exceptional customer experience. Valued opinions, supported by collaborative teams, impact the success of the Commercial Lending & Leasing Operations organization. This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. If approved, work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace. Occasional in-office participation may be required based on business needs. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Requirements

  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Strong contributor to the organizational tax reporting, tax planning, and compliance function.
  • Completes accurate tax returns to minimize the tax obligations of the organization.
  • Research, monitor, and learn appropriate federal, state and local tax regulations and obligations.
  • Preparing appropriate tax forms and instruments for filing with federal, state and local jurisdictions.
  • Coordinating, facilitating and resolving all taxing authority inquiries and audits.
  • Mentoring junior staff on appropriate regulations, filing procedures and internal communication needs.
  • Keeping up-to-date with and advising others of organization-related tax regulations at the federal, state and local levels.
