About The Position

This role involves completing all aspects of accounting, tax, and audit engagements for clients. The Tax Associate will execute a solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles, general tax regulation, general quality control auditing standards, technology implementation procedures, etc., relative to individual client assignments. The associate will adhere to engagement budget constraints and complete assigned tasks within the time requested, while striving to attain charge hour goals. Practice in early practice development activities such as memberships in qualified organizations capable of referring potential engagements is also expected. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred
  • CPA eligible; desire to obtain certification is required
  • Internship experience in accounting or related field preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and tax project management skills, including basic knowledge of GAAP, Taxation compliance, codes and regulations
  • Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
