As a Tax Associate, you will help deliver tax compliance and planning services to a diverse client base across a variety of industries. Working closely with experienced team members, you will prepare federal and state tax returns, support client engagements, research tax issues, and continue building the technical and professional skills needed for a successful career in public accounting. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Up to two years of relevant tax or accounting experience preferred, including internships.
  • Strong Excel, communication, organization, and critical thinking skills

Nice To Haves

  • Eligibility or progress toward CPA licensure
  • Experience with Thompson Reuters Suite

Responsibilities

  • Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and business entities with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review and organize client-provided financial information and follow up on routine outstanding items.
  • Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation for tax engagements.
  • Research tax questions and summarize findings for senior team members.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members on routine matters.
  • Apply feedback from reviewers to improve the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of your work.
  • Use tax software, workflow tools, and Microsoft Office applications to complete assigned work.
