About The Position

Orbiss is hiring a Tax Associate for its Corporate Tax team. The role involves preparing and working on a portfolio of corporate and partnership tax returns for companies with revenues from $0 to $100 million across industries including technology, pharmaceuticals, marketing, and consumer products. The associate will perform state and local nexus analyses and apportionment factor calculations, compute federal taxable income, identify book-to-tax differences, and work on international tax forms. The position offers direct collaboration with senior staff and managers on complex engagements in a fast-growing advisory firm serving international companies doing business in the United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2–3 years of international tax experience in a CPA firm.
• Proficiency in at least one tax software.
• Respect for deadlines and timely communication when circumstances change.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing as part of a team.
• High integrity and strong confidentiality instincts.
• US work authorization required.
• CPA in progress.

Responsibilities

• Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns for businesses with revenues from $0 to $100 million across multiple industries.
• Conduct state and local nexus analyses and apportionment factor calculations.
• Compute federal taxable income and identify book-to-tax differences.
• Work on international tax forms, including Forms 5472, 5471, 8865, 8858, 1042-S, and FinCEN 114.
• Collaborate directly with senior staff and managers on complex engagements.
• Meet deadlines and communicate early when timelines or circumstances change.
