About The Position

Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Tax Associate to join their dynamic team. This role involves conducting Research and Development (R&D) project management, working on R&D credit studies and related activities, developing and sustaining excellent client relationships during the delivery of R&D services, assisting other R&D project managers, and providing R&D quality assurance, engagement reviewer, and exam support.

Requirements

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to efficiently type notes during client meetings
Report writing required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, preferred
1-2 years experience in R&D Tax, preferred but not required
Experience performing R&D Tax Credit Studies preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct Research and Development (R&D) project management
Work on R&D credit studies and related activities
Develop and sustain excellent client relationships during delivery of R&D services
Assist other R&D project managers with the delivery of engagements as needed, including research and writing regarding technical issues
Provide R&D quality assurance, engagement reviewer and exam support
